I’m Nguyễn Quốc Vinh, a Vietnamese web developer, I live in San Jose, USA. I would love to have fun with PHP, JavaScript all day and play around new technologies/platforms/tools such as Arch Linux, Kohana, HTML5, CSS3, Phar,..In fact, anything get in my eyes I will take time to dive into it.

So, if you cannot remember how to write my name, call me Kurei.

Right now, I run Axcoto, a small web development company. I make websites, a lots and write ready-to-use code components!

As owner of Axcoto, I made plan for my business, find clients, manage projects,… I feel so proud of it. Making money for a living without a boss . It sounds sweet, rite? I sometimes, no.. actually a lots =), fail at managing project that leads to losing clients, and money too! It’s a certain evidence that I’m not really good . But It’s fine anyway.

Some friends call me “coder”, but I would like to think of me as a developer than coder! I think of coding like Chinese(Duong) poem or Haiku! Elegant, short and melodious! I would like to write code as short as possible! Don’t beat me, just a hobby!

I love open source and I’m the coordinator of Vietnamese translating team for Xfce project! Right now, I have not enough skill/time to contribute applications, plugins to Xfce! so I just do translating, & all Linux distro which use Xfce will get language files from that!

I love light weight thing! For examples: Arch Linux, gVim, Xfce…I want to made my system run very fast with as low resources as possible ! IMHO, using small, simple thing makes me work much to leads to improve my skills

When not staying with my girl friend, I always code, reading book with Wordplay on my G1! Coding is my hobby. It’s something I do before going to bed, and something I can’t wait to do in the mornings. I mostly never get sleep in night:((! Actually, I love whatever is web related! Sound I’m so greedy!

When you see the avatar at the top right of this site somewhere, you know it’s me!!! I always use that avatar with nickname kureikain! Vincent is an other name, because in Latin Vincent means conquering, winning! It somehow respond to my character and my name – Vinh!

I love reading, but very selective, Jack London, O.Henry, Heminway,..And I very very very love Emily Bronte!
